The WTA 250 tennis event Ningbo Open will take place at the Ningbo (Yinzhou) Tennis Center in China and will be played on the outdoor hard courts.
In 2010–2012, the event was part of the ITF 100,000+H event, and in 2023–2014, it played as the WTA 125 event; however, the competition was upgraded to a WTA 250 event in 2023 on the WTA schedule.

The WTA Ningbo Open 2023 tennis event will begin on September 25, 2023, and run until September 30, 2023, in China. The tournament qualifying will happen before the main draw on September 23rd and 24th, 2023. Fans can also enjoy a few other tennis events during the same week, such as the Pan Pacific Open, the Astana Open, and the China Open.
