The WTA 250 outdoor hard courts event Jiangxi Open will take place at the International Tennis Centre in Nanchang, China. In 2014, the inaugural event was played, and the winner was Peng Shuai. Since 2019, the tournament hasn't been staged, and a number of editions were canceled in China due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the WTA's response to Peng Shuai's disappearance.
